RÜYA Workshop was founded in 2021 by Amber Tanc. Amber’s Turkish heritage has installed the idea of investing in gold, as it is a huge part of the culture, with gold always being gifted at births and weddings. All of RÜYA Workshop’s first collection has been handmade in a small independent workshop in Turkey. Amber has been using this workshop for her personal collection for several years and has built a long term relationship with the jewellers. 

Amber’s love of gold jewellery began after being passed down a gold bracelet from her mother at the age of 14. Investing in solid gold pieces from a young age and building her own collection became a fascination for her. Several of Amber’s favourite items have been passed down to her, including her parent’s hand engraved engagement ring and her grandmother’s diamond signet.

Amber is passionate about encouraging people to invest in solid gold that can be passed on to future generations, like those that have been passed on to her. With this in mind she has created pieces of simple, classic jewellery, as well as a few more unique pieces, designed to last a lifetime.
